Please be aware, the Good Cause Returnable Program is on hold for 2021! Due to the Pandemic, there have been many issues that have caused the City of Belfast to place this program on hold until we find resolutions for the future. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank everyone for their patience.
The City of Belfast accepts applications each year from local non-profit groups and civic organizations to participate in the “Good Cause” bottles and cans returnable program. Each qualified participating organization will receive one months receipts of the returnable bottles and cans that are collected at the Belfast Transfer Station.
Non-profit groups and civic organizations interested in participating in this program must be based in Belfast, their services available to the residents of Belfast, and their services provided in Belfast.
