Due to the ongoing public health crisis, the public is strongly encouraged to take part by remote means using Zoom. Meetings will stream live on the City website at, air live on BEL TV and on Belfast Community Radio WBFY 100.9.


Those who wish to attend the meeting in-person may do so.  Masks will be required for all in-person attendees *this is subject to change based on CDC recommendations*.  Specific meeting procedures will be determined by the Chair at the time of the meeting and may include distancing measures, restrictions on number of attendees in the meeting room or mask recommendations.

Mission Statement

The Airport Advisory Committee’s purpose is to advise the Belfast City Council, the City Manager, and the Airport Manager with respect to Belfast Municipal Airport-related matters.

Committee Membership

The committee membership shall be comprised of seven members, who serve three-year terms. One committee member may or may not be a non-resident who is a licensed pilot with an aircraft at the Belfast Municipal Airport. The fixed base operator (FBO) may not be a committee member.
