CITY OF BELFAST The City of Belfast is inviting bids for the survey of portions of (7) Public/Range Ways as they abut and access Belfast Harbor, along with re-monumentation of one (1) previously surveyed public way. These access ways to the shoreline are located throughout Belfast, east and west sides, and are of varying lengths and widths as well as degree of development. This contract will include surveys of all the public ways and is expected to require a commitment of several months to complete. The anticipated work will include, but not be limited to, marking of boundaries, placing of pins, written survey reports, development of written descriptions and digital files and will necessitate working with the City’s Planning Office on format coordination for reporting and storage purposes. Prospective bidders are requested to familiarize themselves with the Public/Range Ways and data and documents in the possession of the City of Belfast (Data Disc Available). Complete bid specifications are available on the City of Belfast website at www.cityofbelfast.org or by picking them up at Belfast City Hall, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Any questions should be directed to the Director of Parks & Recreation at 337-3370, ex 27, Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm. All bids are to be submitted to the City Clerk, City of Belfast, 131 Church Street, Belfast, Maine 04915 in a sealed white envelope and marked clearly “Public/Range Ways Surveys” and received no later than 10:30am on December 10, 2009 at which time proposals will be opened in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
