Heavy-Duty Truck The City of Belfast is requesting
bids for one (1) new (4x2) Heavy-Duty Truck for the Public Works
Department. Enclosed are the specifications. Please submit your bid to the City of Belfast, 131 Church
Street, Belfast, Maine 04915 on or before Thursday, August 12, 2010 at
10 a.m. Bids will be opened at this time. Please submit specifications of
the vehicle in which you are bidding. Bids are to be in a sealed envelope marked City of
Belfast Public Works "Truck Bid". Delivery date must be submitted and may be a factor in the
awarding of this bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids for
any or all items covered in the bid request, to waive any informality or defects
in bids or to accept such bids as it shall deem to be in the best interest of
the City of Belfast. Bidders will be considered for award on the basis of bid
price, performance record, parts availability, experience and full economic
analysis and maybe delivery times. The City of Belfast is exempt from taxable services;
therefore, bids should not reflect Maine sales or use tax. Federal excise
