            Pursuant to Maine State Law a public hearing will be held on December 16, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon as possible thereafter in the Council Chambers of Belfast City Hall on the following proposed additions or amendments to the City of Belfast General Assistance Ordinance and Appendix.           

The current General Assistance Ordinance Appendix will be replaced with the new up dated appendix.  The General Assistance Ordinance its self is unchanged.           

The complete General Assistance Ordinance and its Appendix is on file at the City Clerk’s office and available for inspection Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The public is invited to attend the hearing and voice any comments, or may submit written comments prior to the hearing.  Written comments can be sent to:  City of Belfast, City Clerk Roberta Fogg, 131 Church Street, Belfast, Maine 04915 or via email to cityclerk@cityofbelfast.org

B) Request to approve the request for an off premises catering permit for Jeff’s Catering & Banquet Center for a Christmas party at the Belfast Boathouse on December 21, 2008 from  7pm to 1am.
